The Eureka Amphibian2 display unit allows simple connection (cabled or wireless) to a Manta2 multiparameter sonde for taking water quality measurements in the field. The easy-to-use, Microsoft Windows Embedded Handheld software package provides ample processing power and memory and contains Microsoft Office Mobile 2010 for viewing and managing data in the field.
The rugged housing and large, bright screen are well suited for use in harsh conditions. The internal 10600 mAh Li-Ion battery provides power to the Manta2 sonde for hours of field use.
The basic model offers WiFi and Bluetooth wireless technology, while advanced models are available with a 5 MP camera, GPS for georeferencing water quality measurements, and a GSM modem.
